Important Notes
- * Please check the telephone number carefully before dialing.
Please understand that we receive a lot of calls and the lines often become very busy on the first day when tickets are put on sale. - * There also are a high number of wrong numbers dialed as a result of using the redial button. Please be sure that you can hear a dial tone before dialing. Please be careful not to dial a wrong number!
- * A telephone number that starts with 0570 cannot be accessed by some mobile, PHS and IP phones.
Please check with your service provider regarding 0570 telephone access. - * If connection is not possible, please call 03-3230-3000.
- * Please choose your seat among the available seats which the operator shows.
- * Telephone reservation is available by the day before the performance day. Please make sure that telephone reservation is NOT available on the day of the performance.
- * The seats available by telephone reservation and Box Office sale are different from those on sale on the Internet.
- * A ticket order will be cancelled if the connection is disrupted before the order is completed (completing the order means receiving the order number). When you use a mobile phone, please be sure to call on a location with good signal quality.
Reservation Procedure
1. Please specify the name and date of event and the grade and quantity of seats. |

3. The telephone operator will confirm your reservation details. |
- * If the performance date is within the next 10 days or presentation of an ID card or other certificate is required for discount, tickets must be received at Box Office.
- * Please check order details carefully; cancellations or any other changes are not allowed after payment.
Box Office Sale
Box Offices are located at the National Theatre, National Engei Hall, National Noh Theatre and the National Bunraku Theatre.
Purchasing Tickets
- Tickets for events produced by the National Theatre of Japan can be purchased at any Box Office in any venue of National Theatre of Japan.
- You can choose your seat with the seating chart which shows the available seats.
- The Box Office often become congested just before the opening curtain.
- Tickets can be paid for by cash or credit card. Available credit card: VISA / MASTER / JCB / AMERICAN EXPRESS / DINERS.
- Please be sure of your order details before the payment. After the payment, none of these are acceptable: cancellation or change of ticket and refund of ticket price.
- Please be sure of the requirement for the discount which can be applied only in the case of Box Office sale.
Receiving Tickets
- You can receive your tickets reserved by telephone or ordered online at any Box Office in any venue of National Theatre of japan.
- Please present your order number at Box Office.
- For receiving the tickets ordered online, please use the Ticket Machine. As regards the direction for the machine, please refer to Automatic Ticketing Service.
- Please be sure to present your student ID card or papers for disability in order to get your tickets discounted as these applications.
- Please be sure of requirement for the discount which can be applied only in the case of Box Office sale.
- If you do not pay for the tickets by the deadline, your reservation will be cancelled.
