How to Receive Tickets

Tickets can be received from the ticket machine at the box office or through delivery to the designated mailing address (*).

  • * Only available in Japan.

Receiving tickets at box office (ticket machine)

Tickets that were reserved online can be issued quickly and easily with the ticket machines at the box office.

[Members of Azekura-kai or Bunraku Theatre Tomo-no-kai]

  • Your ticket can be picked up as early as the date of ticket purchase.
  • Tickets are issued with QR code or Order Number. Tickets cannot be issued with your Membership Card.

[Other customers]

  • Your ticket can be picked up 72 hours after completing the ticket purchase and any day thereafter until the performance date.
    The ticket machines cannot issue the tickets unless 72 hours have passed from the time of purchase. In such a case, please request issue of your ticket at the box office counter, presenting your credit card that you used to purchase the ticket.

Delivery to Mailing Address

The options for receiving tickets are delivery of the tickets ordered or mailing of the payment slip (which serves as a ticket after payment).

Ticket Delivery (Delivery charge per order : 620yen)

Tickets will be delivered to the mailing address designated in the ticket order.
Tickets will be delivered at a charge of 620yen per order.

* The service charge is per order and not per ticket.

Time Required For Delivery

The tickets will be delivered to your address approximately within five days after your purchase. If you are not at home at the time of delivery, a notice will be left in your mailbox and the ticket will be retained by the courier service for one week under normal circumstances. Please contact the courier service to arrange a delivery date.
Tickets left for more than one week with the courier service will be returned to the National Theatre Ticket Centre. If the tickets are returned to the National Theatre Ticket Centre, you will be contacted for receiving the tickets at the box office.
If the tickets have not arrived after one week of the purchase date, please contact the National Theatre Ticket Centre.

Delivery Address

  • Delivery is restricted to addresses only in Japan.
  • If delivery to an address other than the registered mailing address is required while the ticket is retained by the courier service, please contact the courier service.

Mailing Payment Slip (Service charge : 210yen per ticket)

A payment slip will be delivered to the mailing address designated in the ticket order.
A service charge of 210yen per ticket is required.
After payment at the convenience store, you will receive the "Payment Receipt (Customer Copy)" with the receipt stamp of the store. This will serve as your admission ticket. Please present this receipt at the theatre for admission to the performance.

* Please note that payment will not be accepted after the payment due date and the reservations will be cancelled. The payment due date is 5 days after the scheduled delivery date. Please understand that the amount of time between the arrival of the payment slip and the payment due date may be short, depending on postal delivery times and other factors.

  • The payment slip will be mailed by post. It is delivered normally within one week from the date of purchase.
  • If the payment slip has not arrived after one week from the date of purchase, please contact the National Theatre Ticket Centre. Please note that the payment will not be accepted after the payment due date and all reservations will be cancelled.
